Mosswood is a small bed and breakfast on Hugenote Street, in a residential part of Graskop. It opened in 2020, is family owned and run, and has four guest rooms. It makes a sensible base for the Panorama Route, with the Graskop Gorge Lift, the Pinnacle and God’s Window all a short drive away, and Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport is about 57 km off in a straight line.

What to expect

There are two kinds of suite. East Suites look out towards the Blyde River Canyon escarpment, and West Suites face the garden and the neighbourhood, so ask for an east-facing room if the view is a priority. Rooms are en suite, with a fireplace, a smart TV, fibre wifi and a private patio. Housekeeping is daily.

Breakfast is served from 7:30am to 9am, with a choice of continental or cooked. Dinner is not mentioned on the B&B’s own site, but Graskop’s restaurants are a short drive away.
