Tsitsikamma Village Inn
A long-established country hotel in Storms River village with 49 cottage-style rooms, a pub, a microbrewery and easy access to Tsitsikamma.
The Tsitsikamma Village Inn is a country hotel in the small village of Storms River, on the Eastern Cape side of the Garden Route. It is the obvious base for Tsitsikamma National Park at Storms River Mouth, and for the adventure activities that cluster around the village. Instead of one block, the rooms are spread around a village green in a scatter of small cottages.
What to expect
There are 49 rooms. Twenty-six are in Cape-style cottages set around the green, seven are in barns converted from the hotel’s original stables, and sixteen are log rooms built in a Swiss cottage style. Each cottage is decorated differently and has its own patch of garden.
The main building holds the De Oude Martha restaurant, Cafe Bacchus, the Hunters Pub and a guest lounge. There is also a 1960s-themed diner, and the hotel brews its own beer in an on-site microbrewery alongside other South African craft beers. Wifi is free, and there is a playground for children.
