Privacy

The short version: we don't ask for your name or email to read anything here, we only email people who sign up, and we use Google Analytics to see which pages are useful.

Last updated 7 October 2026.

What we collect

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people read, roughly where they come from (country and city level) and what device they use. It does not tell us who you are. If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, analytics cookies are off by default and Google only receives anonymous, cookieless signals.

If you email us, we keep your message and address only to reply and to fix whatever you told us about. We never sell or share it.

Email updates

If you sign up for fee change alerts or trip updates, we store your email address, which parks or topics you chose, the page you signed up on, your country (worked out from your connection, not your exact location) and the date and wording you agreed to. We use it only to send those emails. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your details completely at any time.

We never sell your email address. If we later use an email service to send the messages, it will act only on our behalf.

Cookies

Google Analytics may set cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) to tell one visit from the next. The site itself sets no cookies of its own. You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time, or install Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Advertising

We plan to show ads from Google AdSense. When we do, Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalised ads at adssettings.google.com. We will update this page before ads go live.
