Closed by the BMA after the January 2026 Kruger floods and again from 15 March 2026 for high rivers. Reopened 31 March 2026.

About 2 hours' drive from Phalaborwa Gate, then roughly 70 km to Massingir on the Mozambique side.

Bring your passport, the vehicle's registration papers and, for a hired car, the rental company's letter of authority to take it across. Check the rules for Mozambique before you go.
