Fish Eagle

Fish Eagle Cottage is one of the self-catering units at 360on62, a working farm about 7 km outside Montagu on Route 62 in the Little Karoo. The farm looks across to the Langeberg, and at night spotted eagle owls and Cape eagle owls are often heard around the cottages. It suits couples or a small family wanting a quiet, self-sufficient few nights.

What to expect

The cottage sleeps four in two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite shower, and the second has two single beds. The open-plan living area has a kitchenette with a gas cooker, fridge-freezer and microwave, and there is a fireplace for winter.

Outside you get a covered outdoor bathroom with a soaker bath, a patio with a braai and firepit, and a private jacuzzi. Guests share the farm’s swimming pool, and the dam has kayaks.

Good to know
